2020 AABAT TASMANIAN FORUM CANCELLED

Due to the travel quarantine safety restrictions to Tasmania, it is with a heavy heart that we confirm that the proposed AABAT National Forum rescheduled for 13-15 November 2020 has now been cancelled. It would be an understatement to say we are disappointed, however looking onwards and upwards there are many good things to look forward to and ways to stay connected!

We want to say a thank you to the wider Bush Adventure Therapy community for your ongoing support during this time, and a particular thank you to the team who have been involved with the planning of this forum.

2021 AABAT National Forum

South Australia intends to host the 2021 forum in the Adelaide Hills in October, stay tuned for more information on the AABAT Facebook Page, AABAT Website, and AABAT e-newsletters.

Other Activities

In the meantime, there are a whole host of activity you may be able to get involved in, such as:

  • AABAT SA at Mylor Adventure Camp (regional event) – Our South Australian team is hosting a two day event from 24-25 October for the small camping fee of $20. Attendees are invited to share professional practice ideas and enjoy some social and cultural time, and have input on preliminary planning for the AABAT National Forum for 2021. See the Facebook Event for more details.
  • The Outdoor Healthcare team have been hard at work hosting a series of roundtables throughout August. There will be a full day Outdoor Healthcare Online  Roundtable to be held on Wednesday 11 November 2020 – please keep an eye on the Outdoor Healthcare Website and Outdoor Healthcare Facebook Page for more details.

Remember to keep an eye out on the AABAT website and Outdoor Healthcare website, as well as AABAT Facebook and Outdoor Healthcare Facebook pages for more news and activities.

Take care, stay safe and we hope to see you at the forum next year or at one of this year’s events!
